Department of Prosthodontics & Crown & Bridge

Prosthodontics is the dental specialty primarily concerned with the restoration and replacement of lost or damaged teeth. this Speciality is the"architects of the smile," prosthodontists are highly trained specialists as their name implies("prosthesis"= addition or attachment,"odont"=tooth) with a unique understanding of all the elements that go into a beautiful, functional and natural- looking smile-not just the teeth, but also the gums, lips, and facial featurers.


Department of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics

Conservative Dentistry is the branch of dentistry which is concerned with the conservativon of teeth in the mouth. It embraces the practice of operative dentistry and endodontics, and includes various kinds of direct and indirect restorations of individual teeth in the mouth. Primary goal of Department of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics encompasses the diagnosis and treatment of sequelae of dental caries and includes the techniques and procedures to restore the teeth to full function & appearance in an aesthetically pleasing manner with as little loss of healthy tooth structure as possible.


Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery specializes in treating many diseases, injuries and defects in the head, neck, face, jaws and the hard and soft tissues of the mouth and maxillofacial (jaws and face) region. It is an internationally recognized surgical speciality. An oral and maxillofacial surgeon is a regional specialist surgeon treating the entire craniomaxillofacial complex: anatomical area of the mouth, jaws, face, skull, as well as associated structures

Orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics, is a specialty field of dentistry, The speciality deals primarily with the diagnosis, prevention and correction of malpositioned teeth and the jaws. Orthodontic treatment focus on dental displacement or deal with the control and modification of facial growth. It is better defined as" dentofacial orthopedics"

Periodontics is the dental specialty focusing exclusively in the inflammatory disease that destroys the gums and other supporting structures around the teeth. A periodontist is a dentist who specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease, and in the placement of dental implants. AS specialists in periodontal disease, they are experts in the latest techniques for diagnosing and treating periodontal disease. They are also trained in cosmetic periodontal procedures.


Department of Oral Pathology & Microbiology

Oral Pathology is that part of pathology and a branch of dentistry concerned with the scientific study of the causes and effects of orla disease an understanding of which is essential for diagnosis and for the development of rational treatment and preventive programmes. One of the most important purposes of oral pathology is to give the student the ability to correctly diagnose oral lesions, which can onlybe dianoses through microscopic examination.
